Let me just go straight to the point without much fanfare or suspense… there is a new, fast and easy way to make money online, presenting Auction Ads.

Ok, so maybe your new to the internet and internet marketing so let me just bring you up to speed… and my first thought is, for the newbies, you might probably be wondering “how do you make money using a website?

Well, you could:

  • Sell your products
  • Sell someone else’s products
  • Advertise someone else’s business or products
  • Make money off Google Adsense

But before you go ahead and brand this post as some shameless plug for Google Adsense, let me just tell you this; and almost every webmaster, internet marketer, niche site builder… heck probably anybody who has some sort of website, big or small, niche or broad… who one way or another has tried making money online, will tell you that Google Adsense is probably the easiest and simplest way to make money off your website”.

Now, I am not going to elaborate right now on the why’s and how’s that you might have hanging around your head but, let me say one more thing “Google Adsense WAS probably the easiest and simplest way to make money off your website”.

Enter Auction Ads, now website owners of whatever form or genre, have a choice on how to monetize their sites. What Auction Ads does is simply fuse the concepts of pay per click advertising and auctions, in particular ebay.

Pay per click has pretty much been dominated by Adsense for the past couple of years; lets face it they are the PPC industry leader. On the other hand Ebay has also been an industry for who knows how long, probably since people learned the convenience of buying online and through auctions.

So Auction Ads works that way, webmasters do have to put a bit of code on their sites’ pages where they want the ads to appear, but unlike Adsense which is contextual, Auction Ads aren’t… in fact webmasters get to choose what type of ads to display by indicating keywords in the ad set up portion. A click on the ad of an item being displayed takes the clicker to the item on ebay, and you earn commissions on the sale as indicated in Ebay’s Affiliate Program pay-put policies.

This would have to be the best news for those who look for more ways to make monetize, and since Auction Ads are non contextual they can be used on a page with Google Adsense and without a limit as to how many ad blocks you can display.

There could probably be a few people, and maybe one giant PPC department that isn’t too thrilled about this, but the way things are going now, the Ads from Auction are certainly a welcome option.
